FIRST Robotics World Championship

Last week, our Cyberstingers Gold and Blue teams competed at the FIRST Robotics World Championship in Houston, Texas—a first in school history!

To get there, both teams had to qualify at the district competition in Macon and then finish among the top teams at the Georgia State Championship in Gainesville. At the state level, the Gold team took home the Inspire Award, the most prestigious award given, while the Blue team earned second place for the Inspire Award.

At Worlds, they competed alongside teams from across the country and 28 other nations—an honor and incredible achievement.

This success reflects the dedication of our students, who have spent countless hours building, testing, and perfecting their robots and connecting with local businesses and organizations through community outreach.

Congratulations, Cyberstingers—your hard work has truly paid off!
