Cyberstingers Robotics Teams Shine at the Thomasville Kiwanis Club
On January 10, 2025, our Cyberstingers robotics teams—Cyberstingers Gold 6988, Cyberstingers Blue 5979, and Cyberstingers Green 8433—had the privilege of presenting to the Thomasville Kiwanis Club. This was an exciting opportunity for our students to showcase their work, engage with the community, and promote STEM education.
During the presentation, the teams introduced the FIRST Tech Challenge 2025 game, Into the Deep. The game’s underwater-inspired challenges captivated the audience as students explained the strategic objectives and engineering requirements of the competition.
Each team proudly shared their unique robot designs, highlighting the engineering creativity and problem-solving skills behind their builds. From the sleek, efficient mechanisms to the coding innovations that drive their robots, the Kiwanis Club got a behind-the-scenes look at how our students tackle complex challenges.
In addition to discussing their robots, the teams shared stories of their outreach efforts throughout the year, which included STEM workshops, community demonstrations, and collaborations with local businesses to inspire the next generation of engineers.
The presentation concluded with an exciting live demonstration of the robots in action. The audience was thrilled to see the Cyberstingers’ robots navigating obstacles, performing tasks, and bringing their designs to life.
We’re incredibly proud of our Cyberstingers teams for their dedication, professionalism, and enthusiasm. A special thank you to the Thomasville Kiwanis Club for hosting us and supporting STEM education in our community!
