The Cyberstingers engaged in a STEM activity by participating in a remote Astrodynamics lab. The lab was led by mentors that included college students and The Galactic Gal, Camille Elizabeth Bergin, an aerospace engineer, science communicator, and space industry professional. Bergin’s social media platforms focus on space education and inspiring girls and women to pursue STEM careers.
College students Lani Riemenschneider and Owen Smyth shared their path to STEM careers. Lani majored in Computer Science and graduated from the University of Notre Dame. Owen Smyth is a freshman Mechanical Engineering student at Stony Brook University. Both shared valuable information for success in STEM education and careers.
