Cyberstingers Reflect on an Inspiring Outreach Event with Adam Cheyer 🎉
Our Cyberstingers FTC robotics teams had the incredible opportunity to engage with Adam Cheyer, the visionary inventor behind Siri and current VP of AI Experience at Airbnb. In a dynamic and thought-provoking session, Adam shared insights on storytelling, intuition, and innovation while mentoring us on public speaking, pitching ideas, and assembling effective teams.
Students were captivated by Adam’s storytelling, learning about the power of persistence, timing, and creativity in solving real-world problems. Adam emphasized the importance of teamwork, explaining the four key roles every successful team needs: Visionary, Marketeer, Product Person, and Builder. He also shared how his passion for technology and magic intersected, demonstrating the wonder of blending creativity with engineering.
The highlight of the event was hearing about Adam’s journey from a small town in Massachusetts to creating Siri, a groundbreaking tool that redefined AI. His keynote and interactive demonstrations inspired our teams to think big, embrace collaboration, and turn their ideas into reality.
