What we’ve been up to
With the release of this years game our team has been hard at work. Not only on the robot itself but also on connecting with our community.
We recently took a trip to our local elementary school. We wanted to inspire the next generations of engineers. The activity we planed was for them to build mini robot with our help. The kids loved it and had a fun time.
Competition
Our team traveld to Albany on November 7th to compete at our first event this year. Our goals leading into this event were to be able to score somewhat consistently along with a basic auto. We blew those out of the park. Our team ended up finishing the day in first place. Along with setting the region high score so far with 98 points.
Moving Forward
We dont plan on stopping improvments to our robot. We plan on making our auto better along with improving our driving skills. Our design for a hanging mechanism is in the works as well. We also have a lot more planned with our community. Stay tuned for our updates!!
