Our team strives to collaborate with members of the STEAM community to gain insight into its vast field while incorporating those ideals to FTC values of FIRST.
In the past, we have reached out to local events like Innovation Day, where we had the opportunity to display our robots to elementary school students. We focused on showing them that there is more than one way to solve a problem, and showed them how we thought outside of the box in order to design a functional robot. While we were there, we also had the opportunity to talk to engineers that work in our community, like Corey Risden from Check-Mate. He gave us insight into the field of engineering and the specifics of his job title.
